5 of 5 people found the following review helpful Five stars for a fun, catchy song, one star for live performances., April 3, 2012 This review is from: Glad You Came (MP3 Download) I had heard this song a few times on XM radio and honestly had no idea that the band was actually 5 different vocalists. To me, this song almost sounded like something Blur would release and re-mix. The lyrics can be interpreted a few different ways but I do find myself getting hooked by its catchy beat and simple lyrics. So...I decided to check the band out on youtube. Wow, I am almost ashamed to admit that as a 35 year old hetero male that I still liked this song after seeing this band. Not realizing that they are supposed to be the next boy band, along with One Direction, I got a feeling that we will be hearing from both groups for some time. I did listen to the other samples that Amazon has posted for The Wanted, and I have admit that I probably won't buy the rest of the album because it doesn't suit my tastes. My opinion is that the Wanted is way better than One Direction, however, in terms of vocal quality. Now, for my one star rating for live performance, I watched 5 or 6 random live performances on youtube and these guys seriously need a choreographer, fast. I have seen better choreography in a kindergarten Christmas concert, especially if they want more than there voice to bring them success in the USA. Would be a shame to see this group not go on because they are missing a convincing stage presence.
